So I've had a few days to listen to the tracks recorded last week in Atlanta and I'm comfortable with the skeleton of the album with just the trio- Ted (bass) and Duane (drums) do a great job at reading my mind!
Since then, I've taken some time to sketch out how I hear the arrangements coming together and after I add the other folks, it should be a cool little ditty...
I got together with Charles Hedgepath yesterday to go over some of the ideas and kinda point out his parts among the blank spaces. It can be tough when you have ideas for so many different instruments played by so many talented cats and only so much time for solos!
But so far, it seems like a good problem to have!
